Lippert Components, Inc. seeks a full-time Paint Department Lead to oversee operations in the paint area, supervise personnel, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies. The role involves maintaining materials, optimizing coating processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial paint environments, experience with robotized painting systems, and the ability to lead a team while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years leading and mentoring 3–6 plant associates daily.
• 3–5 years leading in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• 3–5 years of spray paint application experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of Robot in Industrial Applications.
• Knowledge of Paint Pro Software for FANUC Robots.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor all production materials and equipment in the paint department.
• Verify the viscosity of the paint daily during operations.
• Inspect paint film thickness and coverage to ensure quality.
• Prepare and mask parts with fixtures, rubber, and tape prior to coating.
• Set bake/cure oven controls and record processing times.
• Inspect surfaces visually for defects before and after coating.
• Clean and maintain spray/coating equipment and paint booth spaces.
• Participate in continuous improvement within the cell processes.
• Collaborate with Plant Leadership on 5-S, safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
