Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or similar automated environment preferred.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery, conveyors, semi-automated or automated systems, and production equipment (mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical).
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, alignment, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Working knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, and basic industrial controls (PLC programming not required).
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergency callouts; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on semi-automated warehouse and production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveyor, and basic control-system issues.
• Coordinate spare-parts, vendor, and contractor activities with Maintenance Management.
• Read blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, equipment specs, and work orders.
• Inspect equipment for wear, defects, and safety concerns; use precision tools to verify function.
• Maintain maintenance records and repair documentation for reliability tracking and audits.
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, installations, and continuous-improvement projects.
• Monitor spare-parts inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Communicate equipment status and priorities to Maintenance Management and operations partners.
