Job summary

Umanist NA is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to service and keep production equipment running in a manufacturing setting. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including 480V 3-phase equipment and basic Allen-Bradley PLCs.

Applicants should have 5+ years of hands-on maintenance, welding capability, and be able to read schematics.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience with 480V 3-phase, 24V DC, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Basic PLC automation and troubleshooting knowledge (Allen-Bradley).
Experience with preventive maintenance of industrial production equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
MIG/Stick welding and acetylene cutting experience.
Forklift experience.
Must have own hand tools.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production machinery and equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance on mixers, extruders, continuous ovens, conveyors, and finishing machines.
Troubleshoot 480V 3-phase electrical systems, 24V DC circuits, motors, VFDs, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Repair and replace mechanical components, including bearings, seals, shafts, and motors.
Perform MIG/Stick welding and acetylene cutting.
Maintain maintenance records and support equipment/process improvements.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
