Job summary

Trex Company, the world’s leading decking brand, seeks a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician in Winchester, VA. This hands-on role supports our composite decking facility with utilities and production equipment across multiple systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance and expertise in boilers, compressors, hot oil, chillers, hydraulics, PLC troubleshooting, and safety-first mindset. The role requires a 2/2/3 schedule and strong mechanical/electrical skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong experience with boilers, air compressors, hot oil systems, chillers, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability; safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain preventive maintenance on mechanical systems (conveyors, feeders, hydraulic, pneumatic).
Repair electrical/electronic systems including servo equipment and sensors.
Troubleshoot PLCs and ladder logic.
Fabrication, machining, and facility maintenance of equipment.
Manage parts inventory and research replacements as needed.
Support engineering in process improvements and new products.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe plant environment.
