Pitney Bowes Presort Services in Levittown, PA seeks an experienced Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electromechanical equipment, including conveyor systems and PLCs, to minimize downtime.

The role requires 2 years of hands-on experience, proficiency with schematics and electrical testing, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekly pay and shift differential are offered as part of the compensation package.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyer machines and PLC systems.
• Ability to read schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to automated equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Shift: 3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 10:45PM–7:15AM EST.

Responsabilidades

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
• Utilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts/supply inventory using EAM.
• Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs promptly.
• Utilize a tablet to track work, downtime, and inventory used.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Job Description:Pitney Bowes is hiring an onsite direct hire full-time Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift in Levittown, Pennsylvania facility.Your hourly pay base range is $30 - $36 plus a $2 shift differential, paid weekly with possible overtime.Your 3rd Shift work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 10:45PM to 7:15AM EST.You are a performance-driven contributor who can effectively troubleshoot, repair, or diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues on industrial equipment. You are a self-motivated individual who seeks opportunities to improve current practices, increasing efficiency and reducing downtime of industrial mail sorting equipment.You will:Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipment (Mail Sorters/ Printers)Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standardsRespond to equipment breakdown or emergency situations.Utilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems to effectively reduce downtime.Maintain the spare parts/supply inventory utilizing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.Utilize a tablet to track assigned work and machine downtime as well as inventory used in repair.Perform all additional duties as required.Your background as a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician, you have:Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.Strong familiarity servicing conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipmentExperience using a multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipment.Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.Our Team: Pitney Bowes Presort Services performs mail sorting; performing some of the work that would typically be performed by the USPS.
