Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician in McMinnville, Oregon. You will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of manufacturing-related equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety policies. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of mechanical/electromechanical maintenance experience and the ability to maintain a safe work environment.

Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting existing systems and leading preventive maintenance efforts while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Strong customer service skills and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• More than 5 years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical maintenance
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical components and equipment
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting documents, schematics and blueprints
• Able to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods
• Experience operating forklifts and other powered equipment
• Ability to work within a team environment and adapt to changes in work requirements
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Repairs and maintains assigned manufacturing-related equipment
• Troubleshoots and inspects mechanical systems and equipment
• Administers the preventive maintenance system and provides reports
• Determines maintenance requirements for new equipment and trains operators
• Maintains a safe and effective work environment
