Job summary

KOHLS in Westerville, Ohio is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to coordinate and perform repairs and keep equipment and facilities in good condition, with cost-effective maintenance practices.

You will inspect and repair conveyor systems and equipment daily, perform preventive maintenance on air compressors, bailers, cardboard conveyors and power and material handling equipment, and service fire protection systems while managing parts and inventory.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment.
• Compliance with all MSDS standards and lock-out/tag procedures
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must provide own basic set of tools and keep the work area neat and clean

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection and repair of conveyor systems and equipment
• Preventive maintenance of air compressors, compactors, bailers, conveyors and related equipment
• Inspect and repair fire protection equipment
• Parts administration
• Plan for preventive maintenance with supervisors
• Provide on-the-job training to Associates
• Assist with minor electrical/plumbing repairs and HVAC maintenance
• Maintain lighting throughout the facility
