Job summary

Poclain Hydraulics is seeking a Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to support hydraulic motor manufacturing operations. This role is not entry level and requires extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment in a heavy industrial environment.

You will diagnose and repair CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, heat-treat furnaces, conveyors, and related systems; perform preventive/predictive maintenance; lead or support rebuilds and installations; use CMMS

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Experience maintaining and repairing production equipment in a fast-paced facility.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex industrial manufacturing equipment and systems
• Support CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, assembly equipment, heat treat furnaces, paint systems, conveyors, and facility infrastructure
• Perform advanced troubleshooting on: Mechanical, Industrial electrical, PLC-controlled, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, Servo motors and drives
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime
• Lead or support machine rebuilds, upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, document repairs, and track maintenance activity
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring failures
• Support emergency equipment repairs in a production-driven environment
• Maintain safe work practices including lockout/tagout and OSHA compliance
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced maintenance personnel
