Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience in preventative maintenance.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills, including wiring and working with 480V.
• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting (inputs/outputs) and HMI programs.
• Experience with VFDs, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of packaging equipment, including X-ray machines, blenders, mixers, baggers, labelers, ink jet coders, and heat shrinking machines.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and wiring for motors up to 480V.
• Repair and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs and utilize HMI programs.
• Address mechanical troubleshooting involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Replace, troubleshoot, and repair photoelectric sensors.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding and fabrication as needed.
• Use an MRP system for maintenance tracking and planning.
