Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) is seeking an Industrial Projects – Senior Project Manager to oversee shipping and logistics across the supply chain. Based in Houston, you will manage multi-location teams, ensure on-time project delivery, and drive cost-effective, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include supervising personnel, coordinating with customers, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while pursuing service improvements and new opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience required.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver overall logistics service to the client.
• Analyze KPIs to ensure efficiency and procedures are maintained.
• Liaise with client on a scheduled basis to review service provision and develop business opportunities.
• Responsible for contract negotiations.
• Account retention and development.
• Ensure project execution complies with company policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Lead and supervise logistics teams across locations.
• Manage global high level logistics planning and critical shipments.
