S&ME's Environmental team in Greenville, SC seeks an experienced Industrial Hygienist to lead a range of health and safety projects. You will oversee exposure assessments, surveys, and technical reporting, while mentoring staff and driving client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety and Health, or related sciences.
• Minimum of 4 years of industrial hygiene field sampling experience.
• South Carolina Asbestos Inspector, Air Monitor, and Project Designer accreditation is a plus.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus.
• Strong written communication and proposals.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct exposure assessments for chemical, noise, mold, and hazardous materials.
• Lead field investigations and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Draft project scopes, budgets, and proposals for surveys and remediation plans.
• Engage with clients and represent the company in meetings and industry groups.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and support business development initiatives.
