Job summary

SAIF is seeking an experienced industrial hygiene supervisor to lead the IH team and shape the safety and health outcomes for Oregon employers. The role requires seven+ years in IH, strong leadership, and the ability to supervise diverse professionals across complex projects.

You will oversee IH services, investigations, exposure assessments, and technical reports while guiding staff development and contract management with external labs and consultants.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressively responsible industrial hygiene experience with demonstrated skill leading and coaching employees.
• Experience providing industrial hygiene services to a variety of policyholders in workers’ compensation, other insurance environments, or diverse clients with varying hazards.
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene or a related science.
• Professional designation as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is required.
• Master’s degree in industrial hygiene can substitute for CIH requirements if CIH is obtained within one year of hire.
