Job summary

AEI Consultants is seeking a Project Manager in its Industrial Hygiene division to lead environmental consulting projects, including surveys for asbestos, lead paint, and indoor air quality. You will manage client relationships, prepare proposals, and supervise field teams to ensure technical excellence and timely delivery.

The role requires strong writing, communication, and organizational skills, with experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience performing and managing technical industrial hygiene projects.
• Excellent technical writing and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Experience with field monitoring equipment for construction, remediation, or industrial hygiene assessments.
• Experience with cost estimates, proposals, and client meetings with architects, engineers and contractors.
• Ability to guide clients through complex projects and manage environmental technicians.

Responsibilities

• Conducting and/or directing surveys of asbestos, lead paint, mold, and indoor air quality testing.
• Creating reports on findings and recommending solutions.
• Performing Industrial hygiene sampling and indoor air quality assessments.
• Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Drafting proposals and cost estimates.
• Managing projects from start to finish and directing staff.
• Reviewing price and rates for proposals and assisting the sales team.
