Blue United Sourcing LLC is hiring a Class 4 Industrial Estimator, Capital Projects to lead the estimating function for large-scale North American manufacturing and distribution capital projects. This remote role requires 10+ years of combined engineering and cost estimating experience, with proven Class 3/4 estimation for industrial projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined engineering and cost estimating experience.
• Proven experience with Class 3 and Class 4 estimations for industrial projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. - no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop Class 3 and Class 4 capital cost estimates for manufacturing, warehouse, and facility expansion projects.
• Produce detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns across engineering disciplines.
• Own estimating methodologies and tools for the organization.
• Review drawings, specs, bid packages, and vendor quotes for accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to scope and estimate capital projects.
• Research market pricing and labor costs to keep estimates current.
• Present estimates to leadership with clarity. Travel ~30%.
