Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in production assembly or a related field.
• Proven ability to handle complex, large-scale assemblies with precision and efficiency and effective use of appropriate hand and power tools.
• Assembly Experience with the ability to install and align motors/gearboxes/pumps, perform extensive piping runs, and install valves and instrumentation to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex assembly instructions from blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret measurement devices including but not limited to tape measures, calipers, micrometers, pressure/level/temperature gauges and devices, vibration monitors, etc.
• Strong technical skills and problem-solving capabilities to work independently and adapt quickly.
• Ability to contribute immediately without extensive training or supervision.
• Working knowledge of vacuum pumps design, manufacture and maintenance is highly beneficial.
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and other mobile equipment and lifting devices to perform work operations as needed.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Reliability and a safety-focused mindset.
• Mandatory physical requirements: Able to manually lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures with strict adherence to the CORE safety rules.
• Use product work instructions, mechanical/electrical drawings, engineering bill of materials and routings, and standard operations and quality guidelines to complete all assembly work to required specifications.
• Follow all quality checkpoints, complete required paperwork and documents, adhere to all dimensional layout requirements of the assembly by accurately measuring and checking throughout the process.
• Respect job order due dates and routing times (efficiency and on-time delivery).
• Support rework and repair when needed.
