Job summary

Atlas Copco Group's Michigan City, IN facility is seeking an Industrial Equipment Assembler to safely assemble vacuum equipment. You will follow drawings and BOMs to build high-quality products, operate hand and power tools, and meet production timelines.

The role requires 5+ years in production assembly, accurate measurement, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Opportunities for on-the-job training are available within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in production assembly or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret measurement devices and engineering drawings.
• Ability to interpret complex assembly instructions from blueprints/drawings.
• Ability to operate and use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and CORE safety rules.
• Use work instructions, drawings, BOMs and routings to complete assembly to spec.
• Meet quality checkpoints and complete required paperwork.
• Meet deadlines and maintain on-time delivery.
• Support rework and repairs as needed.
