Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer focused on Operational Excellence to drive continuous improvement across global units in a fully remote role. The candidate will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies to design enduring solutions, lead Kaizen events, and influence stakeholders across distributed teams.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering or related field, 8+ years of experience in OE/Lean/Six Sigma, and a Six Sigma Black

• Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience accepted.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Industrial Engineering with focus on Operational Excellence, Lean, or Six Sigma implementation.
• Black Belt in Six Sigma required; Master Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion the implementation of Operational Excellence initiatives across global business units, including remote teams.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to identify inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for continuous improvement focusing on productivity, quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct detailed process analyses, value stream mapping, and performance benchmarking.
• Lead cross-functional teams in Kaizen events, problem-solving sessions, and project implementation.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure effectiveness of improvements.
• Facilitate change management processes for successful adoption of new practices.
• Mentor and coach teams and junior engineers on OE principles and tools.
• Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on progress and initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Industrial Engineering with a dedicated focus on Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma implementation.
• Black Belt certification in Six Sigma is required; Master Black Belt is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading significant transformational projects that resulted in measurable improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
• Expertise in a wide range of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, crucial for remote collaboration and leadership.
