Job summary

AECOM is recruiting a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead our Industrial Engineering team across regions and offices, delivering high-value process optimization projects and embedding Lean thinking into all delivery.

You will develop data-driven insights, manage and deliver projects to quality, cost and schedule, and build strong client relationships while supporting business development. This role includes travel across the United States and internationally, with remote work as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or related discipline with 8 years of related experience
• US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the role
• Preferred qualifications include a Master's Degree and professional memberships/certifications
• 15 years total industry experience with 3-5 years of role-specific experience

Responsibilities

• Manage the development of value propositions for process optimization, manufacturing and industrial advisory services
• Develop data-driven insights and translate them into practical, deliverable solutions
• Manage and deliver projects and workstreams to agreed quality, cost and schedule
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and industrial engineering techniques to analyze and improve client operations
• Build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to business development activities, including proposals and thought leadership
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across AECOM
• Contribute to the development of best practice methods and standards
• Support capability development through coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing
• Travel across the United States, as well as internationally as needed
