Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing-based engineering role.
• Strong problem solving and analytic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and contract specifications.
• Strong organizational, written, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Lean Tools and cost reduction.
• Experience with automation equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Being the key resource in determining true product costing on all the process points.
• Lead the efforts in determining labor and material cost of the products produced throughout the Value Stream and determining opportunities for reduction.
• Identify and implement cost savings in the Value Stream in the areas of labor and material.
• Actively support manufacturing in any areas of process improvement as needed.
• Provide technical support to all Lean Manufacturing efforts and be an active role in training of Lean concepts.
• Identify and implement capital projects.
• Provide documentation support for manufacturing and cost improvement projects.
• Identify and support cost improvement projects as directed.
• Provide support to all departments as required.
