Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in manufacturing with layout design, time studies, and process improvement.
• Experience with CAD tools and facility expansions from concept to implementation.
• Strong data analysis and modeling skills; proficient with Excel, SQL, Python.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Form Factory 1 floor layout, including equipment placement, material flow, workstation design, storage and walkways.
• Conduct time and motion studies and develop standard work and labor standards for line balancing and takt time.
• Lead capacity and layout planning for factory expansions and new production lines.
• Build and maintain capacity models and simulate to identify bottlenecks and evaluate design decisions.
• Apply lean methods (5S, kaizen, SMED) to reduce waste, cycle time, and rework while improving safety and ergonomics.
• Design efficient material flow, line-side presentation, kitting, and inventory staging; collaborate with Supply Chain.
• Evaluate ergonomic risk with EHS to create safe, efficient work areas.
• Lead small projects and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
