Job summary

E-Space in Arlington, TX is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to own the factory layout and optimize material flow as we scale production. You will design layouts in AutoCAD, model capacity, and plan line moves across antenna and spacecraft assembly to boom manufacturing.

This hands-on role reports to Manufacturing leadership and drives throughput improvements. Bring 5+ years in a complex production setting, strong AutoCAD expertise, and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience in a complex production environment.
• Expert AutoCAD skills for factory and line layout; owns the facility drawing set.
• Strong process-flow mapping, capacity analysis, line balancing, and time-study fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of Lean principles - value-stream mapping, 5S, and standard work.
• Hands-on and floor-forward; cross-functional collaboration across design, manufacturing, and operations.
• BS in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the HQ factory layout; develop and maintain facility layouts in AutoCAD as production scales.
• Design end-to-end process and material flow across all production areas.
• Model capacity, takt, and line balance for each production line.
• Plan and execute line moves, equipment installs, and facility readiness.
• Design workstation layouts, ergonomics, and 5S standards with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize material flow from receiving to lineside with planning and logistics.
• Run time studies and use floor data to drive throughput and cost improvements.
