Job summary

GXO is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead continuous improvement across 3PL warehousing, focusing on labor productivity, facility optimization and operational excellence. You will analyze performance data, develop engineered labor standards, time studies and productivity targets, and partner with operations, IT and safety teams to implement sustainable improvements and measurable savings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or related field.
4 years of industrial engineering, continuous improvement or operations engineering experience in warehousing or logistics.
Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with Microsoft Office, data analysis and performance reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Lead continuous improvement initiatives across 3PL warehouse operations to improve productivity, quality, safety, service and cost performance.
Analyze operational data, labor performance, workflow constraints and facility layouts to identify root causes and opportunities.
Develop, validate and maintain engineered labor standards, work methods and productivity targets for warehouse processes.
Partner with operations, inventory, quality, safety and IT teams to implement sustainable improvements and standard work.
Facilitate kaizen events, value stream mapping, time studies and other Lean tools to reduce waste and improve throughput.
Track project benefits, savings, performance improvements and adoption of new processes.
