Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer, Industrial, to lead facility layout, manpower planning, and project scheduling. You will drive productivity improvements, develop work instructions, and update standard operating procedures within a growing logistics environment.

The role emphasizes designing efficient material handling, using automation where justified, and ensuring up-fit requirements for offices and facilities. Collaboration across teams will be essential to success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
2 years of engineering experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, or related field.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Experience in an AS9100 or ISO9001 production environment.

Responsibilities

Identify facility design requirements based on activity levels, product dimensions, and flow.
Specify material handling and storage equipment solutions.
Recognize and specify use of automation where justified.
Identify office equipment and facility up-fit requirements.
Create equipment and operating supply lists and provide purchase requisitions.
Develop IT equipment requirements based on activity levels and work content.
Establish tasks and processes required to complete proposed work content.
