Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to optimize distribution operations in Maryland. You will analyze processes, lead cross-functional projects, and help design facilities, automation, and material handling solutions.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in a technical field and 5–10 years of relevant experience, strong analytics, advanced Excel skills, and excellent communication to collaborate across levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in industrial engineering, supply chain, or related technical field.
• 5–10 years in industrial engineering, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, or similar complex operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas.
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing conditions.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Experience working with external vendors.
• Experience extracting, analyzing, and summarizing large data sets to communicate findings clearly.
• Experience implementing and supporting warehouse management systems, automation systems, or material handling equipment.
