Job summary

Southern Industrial, part of EMCOR Group, Inc., seeks a Sr Industrial Electrical Project Manager based in Greensboro, NC. Requires 5–10 years of electrical industrial construction experience, with heavy emphasis on low voltage and data centers.

Frequent travel will be required as projects span the Southeast. The role focuses on leading projects, managing cost and schedule, and ensuring safety and quality across installations for industrial clients.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial construction project management.
• Experience managing projects up to $1M with high complexity.
• Client relationship and business development experience, including bid development.
• Strong leadership, process discipline, and risk management skills.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with client, PMs, and supervision to plan and oversee site projects.
• Manage cost: estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Use scheduling, bids, takeoffs, change orders, and contracts to handle scope changes.
• Develop relationships to identify and pursue opportunities.
• Plan resources to meet project demands and schedule efficiently.
• Ensure operations comply with SIC policy and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor safety program and performance of internal staff and vendors.
• Provide regular project status updates to Senior Management.
• Travel to jobsites to supervise projects.
