Job summary

Outward Hound is seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to lead product design and innovation across our pet-focused portfolio. You will shape the future direction of our brands, driving concepts through commercialization with a focus on both hard goods and soft goods, including plush and textiles.

The role requires independently guiding design initiatives, mentoring others, and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver emotionally engaging, durable products that align with brand identity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Toy Design required.
• 6+ years of design experience, preferably in consumer products.
• Ability to lead across hard and soft goods and drive from concept to commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design initiatives across the portfolio.
• Create emotionally engaging, character-driven products with strong brand expression.
• Develop tech packs and collaborate with soft goods development teams.
