The role is onsite in New York, NY, offering a salary range of USD 80,000 to 120,000 per year. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience designing pet products and a strong background in print and pattern creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Fashion/Accessory Design, Toy Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of design experience in pet accessories.
• Strong skills in print and pattern creation.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Creative with attention to detail, color, materials and texture.
• Passion for pets and creating functional, delightful products.

This onsite Product Designer role is focused on taking ideas from concept through production, shaping seasonal visuals, and partnering across product development, marketing, and sourcing to deliver pet accessories that are both functional and delightful.

What you'll do

• Design and develop pet accessories, including toys, soft goods, and functional gear, from concept through production.
• Create original prints, patterns, materials direction, and graphics for seasonal collections.
• Collaborate with sourcing and development teams to help maintain design integrity, safety, and functionality.
• Monitor and analyze market trends across pet categories to guide design direction.
• Share new, innovative ideas that support the growth and definition of a new pet brand.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Fashion/Accessory Design, Toy Design, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience designing pet accessories.
• Strong skills in print and pattern creation.
• Experience in pet products (toys, accessories, or gear) is a strong plus.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop, plus related design tools.
• Creative approach with a keen eye for detail, color, materials, and texture.
• Passion for pets and an understanding of what makes products both functional and delightful.
