Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Industrial Designer to shape next-generation devices and accessories within the DxD team in Seattle. You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, and PMs to balance cost, schedule, and performance while delivering exceptional product experiences.

You will own multiple projects, mentor junior designers, and translate complex requirements into clear, actionable concepts, driving production-ready data and documentation for scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Industrial Design.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field.
Portfolio available online.
Experience owning and leading design projects independently or managing a team.
Proficiency with 3D modeling (Rhino/SolidWorks), 2D packages (Photoshop, Illustrator), and 3D rendering (KeyShot).

Responsibilities

Deliver all aspects of the physical experience, from concepts and prototypes to production.
Lead and collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, and program managers to create a holistic product experience.
Translate customer-centric design vision into simple, intuitive, and visually refined concepts despite constraints.
Employ a highly iterative design approach informed by the latest technologies and industry trends.
Communicate proposals and specifications to other teams and disciplines at all levels.
Lead demanding projects, advance industrial design practices, and influence across the organization.
