Job summary

Amazon's Hardware Industrial Design team is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Industrial Designer to work on our next-generation devices and accessories. You will be collaborating with engineers, researchers, and program managers to deliver holistic product experiences for our customers.

The role requires leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to push design across concepts to production while balancing cost, schedule, and performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Have an available online portfolio.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field of study.
• Experience owning and leading design projects, either independently or leading a team.
• Experience with 3D modeling packages (Rhino/SolidWorks), 2D packages (Photoshop and Illustrator), and 3D Rendering (Keyshot).

Responsibilities

• Deliver all aspects of the physical experience, from concepts and prototypes to production.
• Lead and collaborate within a team of designers, researchers, engineers and program managers.
• Translate a customer-centric design vision into simple, intuitive concepts.
• Communicate proposals and specifications to other teams and disciplines.
