Job summary
Amazon's Hardware Industrial Design team is seeking a talented Senior Industrial Designer to work on our next-generation devices and accessories. You will lead design efforts from concept through production, collaborating with engineers, researchers and program managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The successful candidate will bring 7+ years of industrial design experience, a strong online portfolio, and expertise in 3D modeling (Rhino/SolidWorks), 2D design
Qualifications
- 7+ years of equivalent experience.
- Have an available online portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field of study.
- Experience owning and leading design projects, either independently or leading a team.
- Experience with 3D modeling packages (Rhino/SolidWorks), 2D packages (Photoshop and Illustrator), and 3D Rendering (Keyshot).
Responsibilities
- Deliver all aspects of the physical experience from concepts to production.
- Lead and collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers and program managers.
- Translate a customer-centric design vision into simple, intuitive and visually refined concepts.
- Mentor junior designers and push design excellence within the team.
