MPI is seeking an experienced Industrial Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on complex industrial construction projects across Northeast Ohio. The role focuses on coordinating subcontractors, driving schedules, and enforcing a strong safety culture to meet budgets and milestones.

Candidates should have 5+ years in industrial construction, with proven leadership, drawing interpretation, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Superintendent or lead on industrial construction projects.
• Experience with manufacturing facilities, process plants, or distribution centers.
• Ability to read drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven safety leadership on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for industrial construction projects.
• Lead subcontractors, self-perform crews, vendors, and project teams on-site.
• Develop and maintain project schedules while driving production and milestone completion.
• Coordinate all site activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Enforce safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture across all phases of construction.
• Conduct daily coordination meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
• Monitor quality control efforts and ensure work is installed according to project specifications.
• Identify and resolve field challenges, constructability issues, and logistical constraints.
• Partner closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and client representatives.
• Manage manpower planning, material deliveries, site logistics, and equipment utilization.
• Support project planning efforts during preconstruction and project startup.
• Maintain project documentation, field reports, inspections, and punch list activities.
• Drive successful project turnover and client satisfaction.
