Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Design Group is seeking a General Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple industrial projects. You will oversee project execution, safety, quality, and scheduling while mentoring site teams.

Travel to project sites and alignment with client leadership are key parts of the role. The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of industrial construction experience, OSHA 30 (with CHST/CSP preferred), and a Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industrial construction experience with leadership of field operations on large projects.
• 5+ years in senior superintendent/leadership roles overseeing multiple projects.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $10M to $250M+ in industrial/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of field construction operations across multiple projects and sites.
• Establish and enforce project execution standards, safety expectations, and quality requirements.
• Mentor and develop Superintendents and field personnel; coordinate staffing to meet project demands.
• Collaborate with Project Directors and Construction Managers to develop execution strategies and recovery plans.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with HSEQ programs across sites.
• Conduct site visits and audits to ensure adherence to standards and client expectations.
