Job summary

BIC Recruiting seeks a Senior Project Manager in La Porte, TX to lead large-scale industrial construction and capital projects. You will drive planning, execution, and financial performance, coordinating across operations, engineering, safety, and field leadership while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience in industrial construction or related field.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects in refining, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong project controls, cost management, scheduling, and financial management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Proven leadership with a focus on safety, quality, accountability, and project performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple large-scale capital and industrial construction projects across mechanical, electrical, utility, petrochemical, and oil & gas sectors.
• Provide overall project leadership from planning through completion and closeout.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, manpower plans, resource requirements, and construction strategies.
• Oversee project controls, cost forecasting, productivity, contracts, change orders, and financial performance.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and key stakeholders; participate in contract negotiations and project reviews.
• Monitor progress and financial performance, delivering accurate forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
