Job summary

BEAR Construction Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex industrial and manufacturing projects in occupied facilities. From preconstruction through closeout, you will drive planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial construction, a relevant degree, and strong leadership, safety, and communication skills.

Qualifications

10+ years of commercial construction experience, especially in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience leading projects in active/occupied facilities and coordinating phasing.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

Lead industrial and manufacturing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Manage planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and financial performance.
Coordinate phasing, shutdowns, equipment installs, and utility work in occupied facilities.
Oversee scopes across architectural, structural, civil, MEP/FP, and equipment.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with owners, design, subcontractors, and BEAR teams.
Partner with Superintendents to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
Ensure projects meet financial targets through cost management and risk mitigation.
Prepare bid packages, scopes of work, and client proposals.
