Job summary

W-Industries is seeking an Industrial Automation Senior Project Engineer to plan, design, and oversee engineering aspects of industrial and energy proposals and projects in the United States. You will collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and clients to provide technical leadership and ensure successful project execution from start to finish.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of experience in project engineering for industrial or automation projects,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (Must)
Minimum 12 years of experience in project engineering for industrial, energy, or automation projects
Demonstrated experience managing complex engineering deliverables and multi-discipline projects.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and oversee engineering aspects of proposals and projects.
Develop, review, and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation for mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
Provide technical leadership on projects, ensuring engineering solutions are constructible, cost-effective, and meet design intent.
Review project drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
Lead design review meetings, providing technical guidance and troubleshooting solutions for complex issues.
Mentor junior engineers, reviewing work, providing feedback, and fostering technical development.
Support commissioning and testing, ensuring systems operate according to specifications.
Monitor and maintain compliance with safety standards, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
