Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field; MBA preferred
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience representing and prioritizing for diverse customers and stakeholders
• Experience bridging technical and business teams to refine requirements and deliver on time
• Experience in operational environments developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
• Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy, vision, and multi-quarter roadmap for your product area
• Work backwards from customer needs to identify problems and sequence the solutions
• Own the business value framing: cost-to-run, adoption trajectory, and reliability targets
• Make build/buy/partner decisions with clear business justification
• Own product from problem discovery through deployment and sustained operational performance
• Engage engineering leaders to present requirements and co-own technical direction
• Influence architecture decisions with data-driven customer evidence
• Define acceptance criteria that engineering builds against
• Conduct customer research through site visits and operational observation
• Translate customer pain into prioritized engineering work with quantified business justification
• Manage phase gate reviews with operations during deployment
• Ensure training content ships as a product requirement
• Own post-launch support plans including triage and continuous improvement
• Define and monitor KPIs such as adoption, reliability, and cost savings
