1st Executive Ltd in Manhattan, New York City is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to build and shape the US procurement capability within a growing global organisation. You will lead end-to-end procurement across IT, Professional Services, BPO, Facilities and HR Services, partnering with senior stakeholders to move from transactional purchasing to value-led sourcing.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you’ll own supplier activity, deliver cost savings, manage bids (RFI/RFP/RFQ),

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Procurement / Strategic Sourcing experience.
• Strong experience across Indirect Procurement.
• Experience in business services, professional services or outsourcing environments.
• Track record of delivering commercial savings and measurable value.
• Strong supplier relationship and contract management experience.
• Solid understanding of sourcing methodologies and contract structures.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Experience in matrixed, international or global organizations is advantageous.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into action.
• Confident, autonomous worker who takes ownership from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activity across categories including IT, Professional Services, BPO, Facilities and HR Services.
• Deliver measurable commercial value through cost savings, cost avoidance, demand management and contract optimization.
• Lead commercial negotiations, supplier reviews and contract renewals.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships against KPIs and SLAs.
• Identify opportunities within supplier markets and translate them into commercial initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT, HR and other functions.
• Challenge demand and specifications to ensure the right commercial outcome.
• Support the implementation of regional and global category strategies in the US.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and commercial risk.
• Help continuously improve procurement processes, governance, reporting and tools.
• Act as a trusted commercial advisor to stakeholders across the organization.
