Job summary

Hologic, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician III/Incoming Inspector – Mechanical for a full-time onsite role in Marlborough, MA, working 7:00am to 3:30pm.

You will perform advanced incoming, dimensional, and mechanical inspections to ensure materials and components meet quality, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements. The role requires hands-on use of CMMs and Vision Systems, creation and optimization of inspection programs with PC-DMIS and CALYPSO, and strong GD&T interpretation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of quality inspection experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMs and Vision Systems (OGP) preferred.
• Involvement in cGMP, GDP, and quality-system processes; ASQ CQT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and components.
• Create, modify, and optimize CMM and Vision System inspection programs using PC-DMIS and CALYPSO.
• Review engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles during inspections.
• Conduct first article, in-process, special, and incoming inspections.
• Identify, document, and support resolution of nonconforming materials, including MRB activities.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and support product release activities.
• Ensure compliance with GDP, cGMP, and quality system requirements.
• Support manufacturing quality, documentation control, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
