Hologic, Inc. in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician III/Incoming Inspector – Mechanical to perform advanced incoming, dimensional, and mechanical inspections to ensure materials meet Hologic’s quality, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.

Onsite role with hands-on use of CMMs, Vision Systems, height gauges, and micrometers. You’ll create and optimize inspection programs with PC-DMIS and CALYPSO, review drawings, and apply GD&T during inspections to support release

Qualifications

Minimum of 6 years of quality inspection experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection methods, GD&T, and blueprint interpretation.
Experience with CMMs and Vision Systems in a medical device setting preferred.
Familiarity with GDP, cGMP and quality system requirements; ASQ CQT encouraged.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Use CMMs, Vision Systems/OGP, height gauges, micrometers, surface plates and other precision tools.
Create, modify, and optimize inspection programs using PC-DMIS and CALYPSO.
Review drawings and apply GD&T principles during inspections.
Conduct first article, in-process, special, and incoming inspections.
Identify nonconforming materials and support MRB activities.
Maintain inspection records and support product release activities.
Ensure compliance with GDP, cGMP, and quality system requirements.
Support manufacturing quality, documentation control, calibration, and continous improvement.
