Job summary

Cloudera seeks a Senior Incident Response & Resiliency Engineer to mature IR, BCP, DR, and backup/recovery programs. You will own playbooks, run tabletop exercises, and drive enterprise resilience across systems and operations.

You will partner with IT, Cloud, and Engineering to align RTOs/RPOs, policies, and logging for effective detection and forensics. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cybersecurity operations, Incident Response, BCP/DR, IT Risk Governance or GRC.
• Experience designing or maintaining enterprise BCP/DR plans and BIAs.
• Cloud experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Lead IR, BCP, and DR programs and emergency playbooks.
• Map ownership chains and establish zero-day readiness with matrixed teams.
• Act as operational connector during advisories and incidents.
• Test and optimize crisis communication channels and runbooks.
• Facilitate crisis workflows and cross-functional updates during Sev-1/Sev-0 events.
• Lead tabletop exercises spanning IR, BCP, and DR for engineers and leadership.
• Run Post-Incident Reviews and After-Action Reports with remediation roadmaps.
• Develop KPIs and maturity metrics for IR readiness and DR testing.
