Sinch is seeking a Senior Incident Response Engineer to lead advanced incident response activities, coordinate across teams and provide expert guidance on containment, eradication, and recovery.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform forensic analysis and threat hunting, refine playbooks, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve security posture. Remote-friendly role with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with focus on incident response, threat hunting, and forensics.
• Proven experience leading responses to large-scale or complex security incidents.
• Strong knowledge of security tech and threat landscapes including SIEM/EDR/IDS.

Responsibilities

• Lead response to critical security incidents across teams and external partners.
• Perform advanced forensic analysis, malware reverse engineering, and root-cause investigations.
• Develop and implement containment, eradication, and recovery strategies.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify and mitigate threats.
• Analyze threat intelligence to inform incident response and improve detection.
