Job summary

PwC is seeking a Cyber Defense & Resilience - Incident Response - Senior Associate to manage cybersecurity incident response for client systems and data. You will build client connections, run workstreams, and use critical thinking to navigate complex incidents while enhancing technical skills and personal brand.

You will triage alerts, analyze indicators of compromise, coordinate containment and recovery, and develop incident playbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 3 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Responding to cyber incidents by triaging alerts, analyzing indicators of compromise, and coordinating containment and recovery activities
• Developing incident response workstreams that address malware, phishing, credential abuse, ransomware, and other threat scenarios
• Applying forensic tools and threat intelligence sources to reconstruct attack paths and identify impacted systems and data
• Preparing incident timelines, executive-ready summaries, and detailed technical findings for client stakeholders
• Supporting incident remediation efforts by tracking corrective actions, validating control gaps, and documenting lessons learned
• Collaborating with internal teams and client personnel to align response activities with business priorities and operational constraints
• Guiding junior team members through investigation tasks, analysis methods, and documentation standards
• Contributing to the refinement of incident response plans, playbooks, and cyber defense procedures based on emerging threat activity
