PwC in Boston is seeking a Cyber Defense & Resilience - Incident Response - Senior Associate to lead incident management for client systems and data, identifying, analyzing, and resolving security incidents while building strong client connections.

You will manage workstreams, apply forensic tools and threat intelligence, guide junior team members, and contribute to playbooks and defense procedures as threats evolve, in a collaborative, growth-minded environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of incident response experience.

Mansioni

• Respond to cyber incidents by triaging alerts, analyzing indicators of compromise, and coordinating containment and recovery.
• Develop incident response workstreams addressing malware, phishing, credential abuse, ransomware, and other threats.
• Apply forensic tools and threat intelligence to reconstruct attack paths and identify impacted systems and data.
• Prepare incident timelines, executive summaries, and detailed technical findings for clients.
• Support remediation by tracking actions, validating control gaps, and documenting lessons learned.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client staff to align response with business priorities and constraints.
• Guide junior team members through investigations, analysis methods, and documentation standards.
• Contribute to refining incident response plans and playbooks based on threats.
