Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. seeks a senior consultant to lead incident response engagements and drive forensics in Windows, Mac, and Linux environments. You will hunt across large data sets, perform malware analysis, and coordinate with legal teams and counsel for investigations. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Applicants should have strong leadership, cloud IR experience, and the ability to communicate complex findings to executive audiences and clients.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a matrixed consulting environment.
• Background in Incident Response investigations for targeted threats.
• Forensic analysis across multiple toolsets to determine compromise.
• Strong network protocol knowledge and log analysis.
• Ability to perform static/dynamic malware analysis.
• Remediation planning for targeted attacks.
• Secure network architecture and operations knowledge.
• Cloud IR methodologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Clear communication of findings to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements end-to-end.
• Develop methods to hunt for actors across large data sets.
• Work with outside counsel on intrusion investigations.
• Perform host/network forensics on Windows, Mac, Linux.
• Carry out basic malware analysis.
• Produce high-quality reports and presentations for customers, regulators, and legal teams.
• Demonstrate thought leadership via blog posts and public speaking.
