Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a senior consultant to lead incident response engagements, hunt for adversaries across large data sets, and conduct intrusion investigations across Windows, Mac, and Linux. You’ll produce detailed reports and present findings to customers, regulators, and legal teams.

You will also develop new forensic methods, perform malware analysis, and contribute thought leadership through blogs and public talks. Remote-friendly role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience in a matrixed consulting environment.
• Incident Response: experience conducting or managing incident response investigations for organizations.
• Computer Forensic Analysis: background using forensic tools in incident response investigations.
• Network Forensic Analysis: strong knowledge of network protocols and logs.
• Reverse Engineering: understanding capabilities of malware.
• Incident Remediation: creating remediation plans for targeted attacks.
• Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: secure network architecture experience.
• Cloud Incident Response: knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP incident response.
• Communications: ability to convey findings to clients and internal teams.
• Experience with AI technologies to enhance decision-making and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements.
• Develop and use new methods to hunt for bad actors across large data sets.
• Work with outside counsel to conduct intrusion investigations.
• Perform host and/or network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Perform basic malware analysis.
• Produce high-quality reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate thought leadership through public speaking and blogs.
