Job summary

RMC - Resource Management Concepts Inc. is seeking a Tier 3 Incident Response Senior Analyst in Quantico, VA, to support an active government contract. The role focuses on defensive cyberspace operations, DFIR, and incident management across the enterprise.

You will mentor junior analysts and help develop the Incident Response Course. Required are three years of incident response experience, TS/SCI eligibility, an associate degree or 5 years of related work, and DoD 8570 IAT II plus CSSP

Qualifications

• Three years of incident response experience.
• Active TS/SCI eligibility required.
• Candidate can begin supporting this position with a fully adjudicated DoD Secret clearance.
• Associate's degree or five years of relatable work experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II and CSSP Incident Responder certifications required or obtainable within 180 days.
• Schedule: M-F, 7:00am–5:00pm EST, up to 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze network and host artifacts to characterize activity and enable rapid remediation.
• Conduct DFIR analysis of device timeline, memory, and file systems.
• Manage and document cyber defense incidents from initial detection through final resolution.
• Perform QA on routine cyber incident reporting for accuracy and compliance.
• Recommend alert tuning and create new detection use cases from observations.
• Mentor junior analysts through the investigation process.
• Develop and refine curriculum for the Incident Response Course.
• Assist in instructing an Incident Response Course.
