Job summary

ASRC Federal is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Incident Responder for a fully on-site role at Quantico, VA. You will rapidly detect, triage, and eradicate cyber threats across our DoD-focused enterprise, coordinating response actions and preserving forensic evidence.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, active Top-Secret clearance, and DoD 8570 IAT II certifications. Expect day shifts (0600–1600) with weekend/holiday rotations, no telework, and collaboration with cross-functional

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of hands-on cybersecurity experience and incident response knowledge.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible for TS/SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience.
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT II certifications at hire (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+).
• On-site day shift with weekend/holiday rotations at Quantico, VA.

Responsibilities

• Detect, triage, contain, and eradicate cyber threats across enterprise infrastructure.
• Coordinate response actions and preserve forensic evidence for DoD missions.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver weekly cyber event briefs with metrics and trends.
• Contain and remediate compromised systems, accounts, and endpoints.
• Maintain incident response playbooks and ensure readiness during covered hours.
