Job summary

Valiant Solutions is seeking a Tier 3 Incident Commander for a fully remote role. The incumbent will lead a 24x7 incident coordination function, drive resolution, and communicate across stakeholders. Requires CISSP and GCIH certifications, plus extensive experience in SOC operations and incident response.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a federal background investigation, and have the ability to manage complex incidents, coordinate cross-team actions, and deliver timely incident

Qualifications

• Must have CISSP certification from ISC2, plus GCIH or equivalent incident response/digital forensics/cybersecurity certification.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen and able to complete federal background investigation for High-Risk Public Trust position.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24x7x365 incident coordination, escalation, and reporting across stakeholders.
• Coordinate containment, remediation, and recovery activities for complex cybersecurity incidents.
• Monitor security events, perform advanced triage, and determine appropriate response actions.
