Job summary

INOTIV BOULDER LLC is seeking a lead scientist to oversee in vivo studies, including planning, execution, and data package preparation for clients. You will manage sponsor communications, protocol development, and study logistics in a collaborative, cross-functional team.

The role requires experience with rodent surgeries, data handling, and producing technical reports. A MS or PhD in a related field is preferred, with a focus on physiology or pharmacology.

Qualifications

• Experience with in vivo rodent models and related analyses.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with rodent cardiac survival surgeries and/or cardiac ultrasound.
• Proficiency in data management and producing scientific documents.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with GraphPad Prism.

Responsibilities

• Manage client correspondence and relationships.
• Create study protocols with study sponsors.
• Order animals and supplies after coordinating with Live Phase Study Coordinator.
• Train research technicians and supervise study work.
• Perform disease-inducing procedures and surgical procedures.
• Prepare data packages for clients.
• Oversee coordination of studies and allocate resources.
• Write IACUC protocols.
• Identify process improvements and drive efficiency.
