Job summary

Invivotek LLC, part of the Genesis Biotechnology Group, seeks a Senior Research Associate to perform in vivo and in vitro bioassays in mice and rats. The role requires leading basic and complex rodent experiments, peak scientific rigor, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Life Sciences with 2–6 years in vivo rodent biology.
• Excellent knowledge of mouse physiology and in vivo mouse procedures.
• Ability to perform literature searches and communicate methods clearly.
• Ability to calculate dosages and volumes; basic biostatistics knowledge.
• Proficiency using word processing, emails, spreadsheets and presentations.
• Familiarity with information technologies; AALAS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform in vivo and in vitro bioassays in mice and rats for target validation.
• Set up experiments with minimal supervision and maintain records.
• Train personnel and assist with equipment operation and maintenance.
• Prepare animals for dosing, necropsy, or other procedures and collect samples.
• Assist in inventory management and data analysis to improve reliability.
